A “New and Native” Beauty:
The Art and Craft of Greene & Greene


Clients: co-organized by the Gamble House, Pasadena, California, and the Huntington Library Art Collections & Botanical Gardens, San Marino, California.

Dates: October 2008 to October 2009.

Venues: The Huntington Library Art Collections & Botanical Gardens, San Marino, California; The Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington DC, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Massachusetts.

Scope of work: Overall management of the tour and oversight at each venue, including loan and venue agreements, registration, packing and crating, and logistics management.

Project overview: A comprehensive exhibition celebrating the work of Charles and Henry Greene. Featuring more than 140 works designed by the Greene brothers and covers the breadth and depth of their careers, including work with stained glass, metal, textiles, architectual drawings, archival photographs, and dazzling woodcarving and decorative inlay.
